We serve girls in an underserved community with opportunities to learn skills for self-reliance and empowerment
We enable girls to transition to tertiary educational institutions through our rigorous bootcamp
We provide financial, social, and emotional support to the girls so that they are best prepared for higher learning
Nailepu Foundation helps girls from rural parts of Narok county transition to tertiary education. In the Maasai Community, girls especially face a lot of obstacles when continuing with education. Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and early marriages continues to be the biggest bottleneck for girls to continue with their education. Every year, less than 10% of girls continue from Primary School to Secondary School education and less than 5% continue to universities and colleges. Our aim is to provide a safe environment for girls after completing high school where they spend a couple of months acquiring useful skills such as basic computer studies, fashion design fundamental and practicals and hair and beauty courses which will enable these girls to be more financially independent and able to support themselves through tertiary institutions.

In its first year of founding (2022), our program successfully helped 18 girls from rural areas in Narok, County, Kenya, join tertiary education centers, with most joining 2 to 3-year college programs. As of today, we have secured full sponsorship for 5 of the 18 girls from underprivileged families to enter tertiary institutions.
